Looking for a detailed itinerary? We’re working on our conference magic, so we’ll share a detailed agenda in the coming months! In the meantime, here’s a peek at some of the topics that will be covered at the conference. We’ll also have an icebreaker session when we kick off and at least two breakout sessions!

Brick and Mortar Retail Store Owners who are…

…looking to increase foot traffic and online sales.
…interested in leveraging digital tools to boost in-store and online visits.
…eager to learn about new ways to market their shops.
…ready to implement actionable strategies to grow their business.

Small business owners who are…

…service-based-only, unrelated to retail or e-commerce.
…uninterested in community, connections and sharing.
…seeking general business advice without a focus on traffic or marketing.
…expecting instant results without effort, strategic planning or investing.
…opposed to technology or digital solutions for traffic generation.

FAQ

Click on the drop down arrows to see the answers to these common questions:

All ticket purchases are non-refundable. However, you can sell and transfer your ticket to a fellow shopkeeper. No transfer shall be considered complete until it is reported, by the original purchaser, to hello@savvyshopkeeper.com, and the attendee questionnaire is completed by the new ticket-holder. Notification and completion of the questionnaire must be finalized by May 4, 2025 (14 days prior to the conference).

Yes! We will provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks for both days! Water, tea and coffee throughout the 2-day event are also included. We will do our best to offer vegetarian and gluten-free options but we won’t be able to accommodate special dietary requests – please plan accordingly.

Your travel and overnight accommodations are not included in the price of the conference ticket. We have, however, reserved two blocks of rooms at local hotels at a reduced rate. You’ll find additional helpful travel information here to help you plan your trip. Once you join our private Facebook Group you’ll also be able to coordinate travel with other store owners attending.

Master Shopkeepers group members will have an opportunity to apply for a full scholarship (includes ticket, travel expenses and accommodations). The scholarship application will open after ticket sales close. This will be an opportunity for group members who genuinely can’t afford to attend the conference otherwise. Applications are graded on a point system. Applicants who engage and participate in MSK, consume content in the Academy, go above and beyond as group members will receive more points. Retreat scholarships are provided by the Savvy Support Fund.

Yes and no! We’ll offer the same value in terms of content and connection but nothing will ever replace Frugthaven Farm in Michigan. Cleveland’s conference has much more of an urban and industrial vibe. Stay downtown (Cleveland) for a vibrant urban experience or choose a suburban stay (Westlake). Both options offer a similar driving distance to the conference venue, catering to your personal preference.

Biographie is located on the first floor of the Screw Factory aka The Lake Erie Building, located in Lakewood, Ohio. A historic industrial building that has been repurposed into a creative hub. Once a manufacturing facility, it now houses artist studios, small businesses, and event spaces. Known for its raw, industrial charm, the building features exposed brick, high ceilings, and large windows.
