How To Survive The Slow Season in Retail

If you ask most independent retailers about a “slow season”, you’ll see many of them cringe and talk about the “J” months. Hey! It is nice to meet you!

My name is Kathy Cruz! I’m a fellow retail business owner and Retail Coach.  My journey into retail started in 2013 when I launched a creative DIY blog with my sister.  We grew from a blog to a brick and mortar home decor store in 2 years.

During this time, I took my deep passion for learning all-things-retail and launched a second blog, Savvy Shopkeeper so I could help other retailers just like me.

The Savvy Shopkeeper blog has also taken a journey.  From a blog to a podcast and an online Academy just for retailers.

I’m on a mission to help independent retail business owners work less, profit more and grow! I’m glad you’re here and hope you find the information I share helpful.

160. Surround Yourself With Big Thinkers and Action Takers - Savvy Shopkeeper Retail Podcast

The people you surround yourself with constantly influence everything you do, from the clothing you wear to how you run your business to what beliefs you hold!  And while you can counteract some of this subconscious conditioning with your thoughts, it’s hard to do that if you don’t recognize the types of people you surround yourself with in the first place.  In today’s episode, I’m sharing a bit of my backstory, the limiting beliefs I’ve overcome, and how changing the types of people I surround myself with has made a world of difference in my life.
